The retreat is all-inclusive of lodging, food and internal travel in South Africa, excluding the hotel in Johannesburg. You will need to book your own flight to Johannesburg in South Africa, where you will be met at the airport. We shall advise you of good times and dates for your flights there and back, and there shall be someone to meet you in Johannesburg when you arrive. It is advisable to allow for departure on 29th October, and to book a couple of nights in a hotel in Johannesburg so that you can settle before we travel together to Timbavati. We shall recommend a hotel where we can all stay in Johannesburg, the details of which will be available when you book onto the retreat.
It will be the beginning of summer in Timbavati. Rain frequency increases, primarily in the afternoon, with occasional afternoon thunderstorms. Temperatures between 17°C/63°F in the morning and 30°C/86°F in the afternoon are normal.
